A matter of rhythm
The challenge
Create an editorial coffee table book that explores cymatics and the relationship between sound and visual form. The design needed to organize scientific information in a way that felt clear and structured while still creating a visually stunning and engaging book.
The approach
I used rhythm, repetition, scale, and geometry to translate the movement and patterns of sound into the layout. A precise grid, high-contrast imagery, and recurring graphic elements create a system that feels both technical and expressive.
